Wasn’t sure where to put this but seems it’ll turn into a recruiting convo

@Indy Illini Fan or anyone else know what happened with Jizzle James at UC? Kicked off the team last month. Heard he was fighting teammates and threatening the staff to go to the G league? There has to be more to it

Kid is a problem … He’s been to rehab … Left rehab … Still a problem … Not good enough to play G League and wouldn’t be able to join any JUCO or CBB team at this point with the problems he’s got …

He’s got bad people around him … And I mean BAD people …

He should’ve been kicked off the team last year …

I really can’t say much more but there’s a lot more …

UC & Wes gave that kid a million chances … He couldn’t get right … That UC roster last year was FULL of problems … UC really should’ve started over … Brand new staff and brand new roster …

Now kid is throwing a fit because they’re not paying out his full NIL …

As far as Buck and his conversation with James … Buck stands his ground and holds teammates accountable … Some guys don’t respond well to it … I got no problem with Buck …

Need more kids like that in today’s world …

That's the reason we tend to get verbals from 3 stars and low 4 stars first.

Yep, and there are more conversations that went public. People urging this kid to come back to school, that it's the best place for him right now, and he's like, 'nah'. Really sad situation. Heard someone said he was "mentally in left field" right now.

His dad is a hall of famer and had a pretty squeaky clean public image(I don't remember ever hearing anything negative about him).

You would think his dad would have gotten that under control and been able to surround him with the right people. Especially if one of the negative influences is/was another former NFL player.
