It’s amazing how much better the lines played this week - especially the offensive line.

Either we were overconfident and just gave up last week, or Indiana is by far the best team in the country.

Huge win today, homecoming, College Gameday, a sellout and lots of recruits present, new we can all enjoy watching more college football today.

I’d say 8/10. This was pretty much a mirror image of last year’s Purdue game.
i hear you and this is nitpicking a bit, but we were run off the field by a team ranked below us (vs losing by 14 to higher ranked Penn St) and USC was ranked and a hot pick (vs Purdont).

either way, tremendous win that shows the value of having an experienced locker room and culture of toughness. hopefully we can build on this and springboard to another memorable season!

and when did we last put up 500 yds: 1) at all and, 2) against a ranked opponent?

Huge win. For the season. For program perception. Everything.

Can't believe how much the OLine improved in a week.

One of those games that really wasn't as close as it ended up being. Easily could've gotten into blowout territory if we had held onto the ball near the goal line. That shows, though, that this team's margin for error is greater than I thought.

For the absolute spectacular game Luke played he should get game ball, but there was one player in my mind who earned it just a little bit more and that's Josh Kreutz. He had an absolutely ferocious game. Got his line ready, physically won pretty much every single snap and broke USC's interior getting to the second level and having his teammates backs all game.

This coming after his worst performance in an Illini jersey and possibly at any point in his life last week. That takes heart, character, leadership, and toughness. He was absolutely phenomenal today and him and his line were the reason Luke got the chance to show us something special.

Centers don't typically win offensive player of the week awards, but he showed every bit of the player he has the potential to be. Hell of a game for the kid and the rest of the OL. As well as a big tip of the cap to Lunney, Bret, and Bart getting them ready to ball this week.

Can the Illini marketing team find a way to incorporate USC into every team we play? I’m sure most teams have the letters in the team name somehow.

Loved the effort and determination today. What could’ve been an easy victory turned into an almost disastrous defeat and played out to a gritty victory.

How many of these wins do we have in recent history? Program is turning a corner

sometimes crap happens and it just flows unexplainably . how else can you explain a world series caliber MLB team losing 16-1 and then winning it all a week later with same players . it happens .

IU is good . highly doubt they go 10-3 again
