How dare they run out of beerOne bad thing I heard the student section ran out of water so a lot of them were bailing as the game went on.
Can’t speak for all of them, but for myself, the difference between last week’s OLine play and this weeks is nothing short of a miracle….How do all of you Debbie Downers feel after predicting a 30+ point loss? As I said in the pregame thread, this IS NOT the Illini of the past. On to the next W!

4 or 5 of those completions to #6 don’t happen with X.
Truly a difference in this game IMO.
Just impossible to overstate the magnitude of this win.
First time?Holy hell, being an Illinois football fan is a meat grinder of emotions.
yeaFirst time?
He’s playing on Sunday for sureOlano will be on my fantasy football team some day
@IlliniKat91 Or two, Kat! I missed one of my first Homecoming games ever today (since 1974) so I could watch my junior granddaughter race in her hs cross country meet. Thank goodness she did great (9th out if 121) to make it worth it!!!Have one for me!
football can be a crazy stat game on any given night .Last week was a national embarrassment. So I really wished we had our line play fixed prior to that.
However, I almost wonder if BB saw these problems and gave Miller the opportunity to fix them himself and only stepped in when it was abundantly clear how bad the problems were. This was evident in game one but last week really made it undeniable.
And also Olano. Dude DOES NOT miss inside 50.Did everything we could to give that away... until the final 2 minutes. To have a quarterback like that in those moments is just an incredible luxury.
It was only 1 fumble but other than that your post is valid. No excuse for 2 fumbles. Well coached teams find a way to win. Tanner Heckel will learn from being targeted and get better. We are better team and win by 14 no goal line fumbles. That is why Keadin was in last series.
If we somehow got by OSU with only 1 loss it could still be special.hat tip - seen and think many teams would fold, not only before the game, but also on the fumbles.
Beat Purdue (I’m too smart to be confident) and you have everything infront of you again. And I’m not convinced OSU is unbeatable.
YEP!! I was quite unsettled watch the DL allow so many 3rd down conversions. They MUST patch those holes. We should have had 48 points. Great day for the O-line.
But the defense - oh my.
