I was wondering when the first one would leave Mi. Look for more to leave. Maybe Mi could call Lovie to be the coach and when that would happen Tha Kid would talk about all the 4 and 5 stars headed to Ann Arbor. Remember those days.

Was absolutely right about the DBs specifically and some others.

Think Williams is going to be really good. Reminds of Khalan Tolson in a way. Explosive ILB who will be a tone setter.

if he was a tad taller, he'd have had a lot more good offers. that said, Singletary was a sub six foot LB, and he was ok

I think you'll see a battle with our prep recruits after next year.

I'm not saying Boyd could't really stand out in spring ball and take it from whichever transfer we land but it'll be the transfers job to lose all the way til summer.

I just want to know your thoughts on this - if we find a way to 9-3 or so next year, do we take another year of the same “you don’t hand over a great team to an untested commodity” line of reasoning? I heard that this year and I don’t see what would be any different about next year compared to this year. This was the chips-all-in season but 2026 doesn’t seem like that.

What kind of season gives Bret comfort to see what the untested kids have? I genuinely don’t see a path to them getting a meaningful QB battle where a transfer isn’t enticed with the keys. It’s just stupid not to if you have the resources. I feel like every QB should take a mid-major role and then transfer if that’s the succession plan.

staff has the entire season, heck the whole year, to gauge where players are and how they're trending. obviously, there are more unknowns with sparse (or no) playing time, but that's the nature of the beast. I'm confident our staff makes correct calls far more often than not.

We will have a better idea when we see who we get and how many years he has remaining. You'd love a kid with two years on the clock, but it could make Boyd jump ship. A "one and done" may prove to be tough to learn the system.

That might be the smart thing to do in the long run, but I don't see any of these top prep QBs turning down the NIL packages and the prestige that go with enrolling at a HM program.

That sucks

Think he could be utilized very well somewhere. Showed some flashes but ultimately probably wants a look elsewhere.

I'd like to get Wilson III if he comes available in the portal. This also could open up for Rankin to potentially start in the slot as a true freshman.
