perhaps a career in coaching…….
He's not a perfect Center.....but darn it if this quote didn't fire me up!
The last time we wore them we won!All blue is risky. Last win in all blue?
OprylandAny idea on the team hotel? I think I saw it was the downtown DoubleTree but wanted to confirm.
Which game? The last time we wore them we won!
We wore blue against NW I believe...Which game?
Which game?
I think he meant navy jerseys and navy pants, which we wore last year against Purdue. We also wore that combo twice the year before, beating FAU and losing to Nebraska. We wore blue against NW I believe...
Interesting that it's Nathan not Ayden getting first crack at LT. Remind me what we did in camp when JC and Ayden were both injured, didn't we move Melvin to LT and start Des Schuster at RT? I guess with Des hurt, Nathan is our next best option.

Since 2001 my favorite all time Illini has been Kurt Kittner. Luke is a solid #2 now. Kurt still gets the nod cause of the BIG title. Both kinda similar guys. Probably not NFL studs but real good college QB's and great lead by example types. Everything that is right with college sports in an era where little is right with college sports.
And for old times sake, still got to shout out Rocky Harvey. He was my 2 pre Luke. I'll call him 2a now. Loved that little guy toting the rock.
I second, third, fourth and fifth this motion!!I think they already announced the Block I helmet, but to honor of the passing of Coach Mike White I vote for this combo.

I would love to be wrong, but I don't see that happening.Should be a favorite in the pre draft process and think he goes before the 5th.
if luke is healthy coming out of the bowl game can work out for teams and play in the senior bowl, i see him moving up.I would love to be wrong, but I don't see that happening.
Here's the list of QBs drafted all time: https://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/positions/qb. I'm not sure Luke is in the same caliber as the QBs drafted in the 4th round or higher in pretty much any year the past decade. In the last 10 drafts, there have been an average of 7 QBs drafted in the first 4 rounds. Love Luke, and he's been a God send for Illinois, but I don't see him being one of the top 7 QBs drafted this year.
If he gets drafted (which, I even think that's an if), it will be late rounds/day 3 stuff where teams look for guy to fill a QB spot they can develop.
I'm not expert, and will gladly be wrong.
BB said in a video that it's navy in Nashville. Thankfully I have a navy Illini hoodie that I can still somewhat fit in to.My son said he read for Illini fans to wear blue. I assume because of Tn orange or their faux orange.
