If they go outside the brotherhood … Nate Oats would be a name …

all of the sudden TU getting a head coaching opportunity doesn’t sound so absurd. while i wasn’t a fan of his initial appointment, he has proven himself worthy

Seems they have a dozen 5-star players on their team every year.
I'd think he'd win an NC every couple years if he was that good.
OTOH, LaTulip's evals of the Illini's offense recently seems to me to show some serious coaching ability as well as player IQ.
If you listen to Tulip's podcasts, I think he's currently aiming for the tv color commentator route (ala Robbie Hummel) as he has already done a couple of mid major games..

The best coach in the world can't do anything with the rosters the Bulls build. It's a constant stream of mediocrity meant to qualify for the play-in.
