Although I’m not a fan of his , I would be convinced to become one if the Bulls snagged him .

There were some probably fake rumors flying around the Twitter machine that Scheyer and the Bulls and mutual interest.

Wouldn’t call them fake rumors … And it wouldn’t just be the Bulls that interested him …

Scheyer could follow the Brad Steven’s path of coaching for a while then moving to the Front Office and I’ve been told that’s something that really interests him …

Who would be the lead person for the Duke job?

Travis Steele will be a hot name … As will Schertz …

I’ve heard some Pitino to Providence rumblings …

Cronin would be open to a move …

LSU sounds like it will be open … Oklahoma will be open …

Paris gets another year … Forbes gets another year …

I continue to hear Duke could be open …
Have to assume the BS school will be open?

Hard for me not to caveat with Costanza likely regretting his life decisions (though NIL checks still cash on a losing team).

Kentucky??? Pope's gotta be looking over his shoulder

It’s like an $18 million buyout … I don’t think it’s this year but the seat is heating up …

I do think if they back channeled and could get a Nate Oats, TJ Otz or Grant McCasland let’s say … They might pull the plug early …

Kentucky’s search didn’t exactly go too well last go around … No guarantee they’d even be able to upgrade …

Is Scheyer a good coach?
Seems they have a dozen 5-star players on their team every year.
I'd think he'd win an NC every couple years if he was that good.

OTOH, LaTulip's evals of the Illini's offense recently seems to me to show some serious coaching ability as well as player IQ.

As someone surrounded by UCLA fans, I can assure you they’d be open to a Cronin move as well.

Since we have a bball coaching discussion going on...

If money for coaches became an issue or if teams were poaching our assistants, what is their rank?
TU vs OA
OA vs GA
TU vs GA

I asked my current best friend, AI, what is "Message Board Geniuses"? And this is the answer Bob (I named it) said:
Message Board Geniuses is a social media account and podcast that highlights humorous and absurd posts from college football fan message boards. It captures the wild and entertaining discussions among fans, often showcasing their outrageous predictions and reactions to events in the sport.

Brad. He impressed the heck out of Duke last season.

I love to hear that. Hopefully the search would go wrong again

Donavan looks like he is ready to move on. I am not sure though about Scheyer's coaching chops. But seeing his Northshore connections and working with top NBA prospects for the past 15 years at Duke it might be a good move. Who knows, maybe coaches 5 years with the Bulls and then goes back to college to coach the Illini around 2031. He's not even 40 years old.
Pass. Scheyer has done less with more.

5 draft picks, including 2 top 5 picks, and his choice of portal talent...yet still gets pantsed by Sampson last year.

The best coach in the world can't do anything with the rosters the Bulls build. It's a constant stream of mediocrity meant to qualify for the play-in.
