I think very highly of coach Harris but his position doesn’t exist in this defense so it makes sense for him to leave

I got expelled in 2002... Bluto stupid 0.149 gpa... Took some time off came back graduated in 2012 at 34Haha, man I give you credit. I remember my 5th and final year on campus, walking around and seeing the freshmen and feeling like the cryptkeeper, older than life itself. Couldn't wait to graduate.
Saw this on another board, thought it was interesting:
Beatty skipped redshirting his freshman year, so he never used a redshirt. He played 4 years, of course, and in theory has no more eligibility.
But: they just changed the redshirt rules. You can now play in 9 games and still redshirt.
Why doesn’t Beatty play in 9 games (every B1G game) and redshirt? Would get him one final year.
Because he's not a total loser like some of these dudes. He has a future after football in the medical field and will be just fine without football. So why waste another year when he could just get started on the other stuff.Saw this on another board, thought it was interesting:

That's a big time high school program that puts out a ton of D-1 talent.
He’s going to participate in pro day, which means he’d like to continue playing football. Would make more from NIL in college than he would on an NFL practice squad.Because he's not a total loser like some of these dudes. Wait you thought wrong?? Nooo wayyyyyHe’s going to participate in pro day, which means he’d like to continue playing football. Would make more from NIL in college than he would on an NFL practice squad.
Doesn’t matter anyways. As mhuml32 pointed out, players can still only play in 4 games before a redshirt, not 9 like I had thought.
So who are you calling losersBecause he's not a total loser like some of these dudes. He has a future after football in the medical field and will be just fine without football. So why waste another year when he could just get started on the other stuff.
So many wrong, unconstructive thoughts here.Because he's not a total loser like some of these dudes. He has a future after football in the medical field and will be just fine without football. So why waste another year when he could just get started on the other stuff.
Because it's a new era... and you can get paid the big bucks by way of NIL.Because he's not a total loser like some of these dudes. He's participating in pro day, has a chance to get drafted. I'd be SHOCKED if he doesn't land somewhere in the league.Because he's not a total loser like some of these dudes. Xavier Scott, Matt Bailey, JC Davis, Gabe Jacas all followed the same path. Especially Scott and Davis, as they were both granted additional eligibility. They all qualify as "total losers?"Because he's not a total loser like some of these dudes. He has a future after football in the medical field and will be just fine without football. But the idea that coming back to school, improving your draft stock, while making good $$ .... makes you are a "total loser" is absurd.
You are valiantly attempting to bring sensibility to this discussion... Alas you will fail, as you cannot expect those with an agenda to change said agenda . . . However, I do applaud your efforts. So many wrong, unconstructive thoughts here.

Terrific punt returner, does not drop the ball, and great playmaking ability with the ball in his hands. Usually those guys find their place: see Isiah Williams.

FWIW, yes, I understand he does not have an extra year:

Terrance Shannon lol.lol Johnny newton came back and improved his draft stock. I guess all the guys who used Covid years were total losers. If Hank had a 5th year he would make a lot in NIL
1. The NIL budget is mostly spoken for by now. Why would he come back and have to beg the program to pay him when they have already backfilled the WR room? How much would he actually make here? 150K? 200K? He's going to be a doctor, is a year salary there is worth it more than a single season playing football? So many wrong, unconstructive thoughts here.

I haven’t heard anything substantial.
I wonder if “Da LandLord” is a nickname he gave himself, a’la T-Bone by George Costanza or if someone else gave it to him. If it’s the former, I’m just gonna call him “Da Koko.”
