Will this be one of those slow sloppy noon starts? We often seem to be sleep walking early in the day. Seeing as I reside in Indiana I'm hoping for nothing less than a beat down. I'm still living down last fall from all the hoosiers I know!!!
We are better about coming out ready to play on the road. I don't know that we've kicked the "sleep walking for early home game" curse yet. No better time to do that than Sunday with a beatdown of the Hoosiers. We started out pretty good in early game against Iowa if I recall
I didn't say anything because it was so dumb (again)....but I called off work so I could watch Tuesday.
It's happened multiple times before (not just with Illinois but my other faves). I ignored it because I'm only a little 'stitious, and I can't stand that I have this much power and influence over my favorite teams outcomes.
So I just sat there shaking my head as we headed to overtime.
With that being said, I'm going to work on Sunday.

What is a safety school? We need to crush this safety school.
There is a lot of basketball left to play, and Illinois remains No. 5 in the NET. So, there is still a chance (albeit small).I still want a 1.
Like a fall back school you’d go to if you didn’t get into Univeristy of IllinoisWhat is a safety school?
That’s funny, and true. I remember 45 years ago i only applied to Illinois, and i asked my mom what if I didn’t get in. She said i could go to Indiana. Now I know why she said that. Lol.Like a fall back school you’d go to if you didn’t get into Univeristy of Illinois![]()
And BAM will answer
Brb gonna rewatch LOTR
The "blue hairs boomers" need to be loud too. As someone in this demographic, I defiantly have a pulse and love to yell at the TV and make drunken post showing my joy and frustration. They have to tell the Orange Krush to "Stay loud"![]()
Beat Michigan. ESPN (for what it's worth) put the remainder of Michigan's schedule strongly in their pocket (though who knows what happens in the B1G) but has us as 50-50.There is a lot of basketball left to play, and Illinois remains No. 5 in the NET. So, there is still a chance (albeit small).
Yeah, I don't understand this. It seems like everyone in the Assembly Hall over 25 years old is afraid to or not interested in getting loud. We've been able to go to four to six home games per year and it seems the crowd is quiet until there's "something to yell about." And it seems like we're the only ones singing. The "blue hairs boomers" need to be loud too. As someone in this demographic, I defiantly have a pulse and love to yell at the TV and make drunken post showing my joy and frustration.
