Doesn't look like a foul. Did he hit his arm? Looks like he flopped.

He’s in the shooting motion, and the contact is deliberately made to impede his shot. When you’re shooting, it makes a sizable difference.Doesn't look like a foul. Did he hit his arm? Looks like he flopped.
All of those above unbeaten teams got 1 seeds though. It is tough to make the comparison that Miami would do well in tourney because they would have been almost certainly the lower seed in their first matchup (even if they won the MAC tourney). Those were all historically good seasons against comparatively better competition than Miami faced. At best, if Miami would have won their tourney, they likely would have been an 8/9 seed as the extreme high end (I would have assumed maybe a 10/11 seed). This would suggest that they would actually be more in line of losing in their first game from a seeding perspective (and very likely predictive/betting market as well). Unless their shooting is very good in the tourney, I doubt they will be able to hang with the power conference teams (based on the defense/rebounding I have seen from Miami the last couple of weeks against poor competition). With all due respect, I think you are wrong. I don't expect them to get to the final four, but they will win at least 1 game, and depending on matchups, might get to the sweet 16.
All the hate for Miami is just unwarranted. People are looking for excuses for them to lose to say I told you so. Other than Alcorn State in 1979, undefeated teams have had a decent run in the tournament. Its good for college basketball to have teams like this, and unless your team is playing them or your college is in the MAC, we should all be rooting for them. Especially in the NIL era.

I can't tell what/if there was contact from that angle. If he hit his arm, then sure. If he barely grazed it? I personally don't think so.He’s in the shooting motion, and the contact is deliberately made to impede his shot. When you’re shooting, it makes a sizable difference.
Most of all I’m just sick of these not getting called and the one on Coleman in the Penn State game.
What contact? I couldn't tell if he actually touched him. Looks like he tried to draw the foul and failed. He’s in the shooting motion, and the contact is deliberately made to impede his shot. When you’re shooting, it makes a sizable difference.

4 letter states full of idiots?Absolutely. And isn't Ohio the same as Iowa? I can never keep those two straight.
Watch the last 10 minutes of their game today. The way major conference teams bully mid majors is what UMass did to Miami. They put on a clinic in the paint, Miami knew it was coming, and couldn't stop them or rebound the ball. And UMass is 200th in the country! In the most important game of Miami's season. They're just not that impressive. I think they'll be in the first four though and the committee will give them a chance to prove themselves, even though thats something that NCAA at large teams are expected to do during the regular season. With all due respect, I think you are wrong. I see what you're talking about now. Seems like soft contact that isn't usually called. I can't even tell if he gets much more than jersey. He might, but it's not obvious. He did not hit his arm. He did hit his lower body, which impedes his shooting motion.
If they felt compelled to put them in there, make them a 11 seed in the First Four. If they win that one, then they'll have earned their way into the "real" tournament. If they lose, no harm, no foul.Watch the last 10 minutes of their game today. The way major conference teams bully mid majors is what UMass did to Miami. On a side note, it was nice seeing Frank Martin on the sideline. He's a haradss, but I like him.
As someone who is VERY much not an Xs and Os expert (so please, basketball gurus, shut me up if that is warranted!), I will never understand how we seem to leave 3-point shooters open so often. Not saying they're perfect defensively, but we have some big guys down low ... we don't all need to swarm the guy driving the ball, especially when we have regularly seemed to get burned by them dishing it out to an open shooter. If we let Boyd and Blackwell shoot open 3’s, we will get a couple extra days of rest before the NCAAT.
Or just lightly jog at a shooter with one hand half raised! You're assuming that just because our big guys are tall, they're physical. They're not and in some cases do need help. We ended up with offensive skill over quickness and strength with this roster, so our defenders are very slow getting over/around screens and that leaves a lot of bad options. An open 3 is bad, but so is an easy layup or a lob/dunk.As someone who is VERY much not an Xs and Os expert (so please, basketball gurus, shut me up if that is warranted!), I will never understand how we seem to leave 3-point shooters open so often. I agree. It seems like before this year our defensive philosophy was to limit 3s, oftentimes to a fault. This Sparty or another team that shoots a lot of middies getting really comfortable or TJD getting 40 on us because we refused to so much as even stunt all game for fear of giving up an open 3.As someone who is VERY much not an Xs and Os expert (so please, basketball gurus, shut me up if that is warranted!), I will never understand how we seem to leave 3-point shooters open so often.
