Wasn’t sure where to put this but the Athletic/ NYT put an update to their P4 football program valuations if they ever went private. Also not sure if there is a paywall (I subscribe to the NYT) but long story short we are ranked 30th out of 68 P4 programs at $568m (vs $405m last year). IU got a big bump (like double) due to their “emergence” partially tempered by uncertainty as to whether it sticks.

Honestly, I’ve always thought the idea of the first place team playing the second place team for the conference championship is pretty stupid.
Imagine if the 1983 Illini had to beat Michigan a second time to be B1G champs.
