Crazy how, after floating the idea of the B1G taking on private equity dollars and only two schools holding out, the conference now wants that banned.
Very telling
Honestly, I’ve always thought the idea of the first place team playing the second place team for the conference championship is pretty stupid.
That does not equal, that equals a 14-16 record.
Maybe because of the conferences outside of the big 4.That does not equal, that equals a 14-16 record.
Man, that’s about 2,890 words more than most SEC fans can comprehend before their brains start to hurt.
And Notre Dame.Maybe because of the conferences outside of the big 4.
it says records against the Power 4 conferencesMaybe because of the conferences outside of the big 4.
As much as I like to see SEC schools get dinged, this is a little over the top. Especially due to the circumstances and that he paid it back.More than a $10 pizza, but.....
who really knows what that meansI see an amendment is there to add a 19th member. That has to be FSU IMO.
Are you expecting logic?who really knows what that means
we all know FSU wants in
we all know we would accept ND too
Texas or tAm would also likely be accepted
I just don’t see 19 being any kind of logical end number

could beWhen I see carve-outs for ND with the proposals, I think everyone has accepted ND is staying independent. That fight, at least for the foreseeable future, is over.
TX chose SEC. A&M, maybe, but do you think there is enough support at A&M for the move to the B1G? Some support but not enough IMO.
Adding the state of Florida is a great addition to the B1G.
Maybe it's a long term play for ND? I just think FSU is very logical. At this point, the number of actual conference schools isn't a a big factor especially when the football playoff goes to 24 teams.
There's a reason the number "19" was put in as a cap rather than stay at 18. I think it's FSU.
If we want meth and mullets, why not just add Missouri?Adding the state of Florida is a great addition to the B1G.
