I haven't chimed in on this thread in a long time, but just saw the post about Maryland's unis and feel compelled to offer a quick comment.

The concept sounds (and probably is) cheesy as balls. But, surprisingly, I think the execution is actually pretty great.

Whether it's really necessary to have a totally off-brand one-off uniform is perhaps another story, but I do like what they put out.

All gray with orange trim and a tribute to #77

Obviously just speculation...but how cool would it be to wear something like this each year for HC? Make the Grange ceremony like an annual event.

I think it would lessen the specialness if done that often. Maybe every 5 or 10 years?

Man I didn't think we'd bust out all the whites already. I thought we'd go W/B/O or W/O/B

Agree. Once a year for a night game it would be special. On the highlights, no one on the west coast is going to know who UW is playing.

Based on the jerseys being sold, the trim will be navy, not orange.

That is 25% of the season. I think it is kind of lame that they hyped all this and we've seen very little of it in action

Count me as a no vote on gray as far as the look goes. Saying that, honoring the Grey/Galloping Ghost is a cool idea. Aside from that we have great combos with orange, blue and white. Let's keep working with that.
