Believe it is Jake’s bday today..poor guy!! EDIT: I see everyone else already pointed that out in another thread! Move along. :)

got my Illini vs UNC Nashville Showdown tickets!!

While you aren’t wrong that it’s not ideal, but I’m guessing all teams that aren’t that upper echelon of Big Ten and SEC or big conferences have similar situations… Either you take off to the top or you don’t. And if you don’t, it’s either head coach or assistants, and if you believe in the...

AND Fletch! This guy clearly isn’t the chiseled athletic freak, so just imagine him after an offseason or two with Fletch.

We all want the full sets of the script and the Fighting Illini jerseys. All 3 of each. And we're set.

sounds like you are right. Kuminga and McDaniels will play the 3/4 spots probably depending on matchups...Kuminga primarily the 4. I think his signing still eats into TJ's minutes...I hope he gets traded.

Well… https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/jonathan-kuminga-signs-with-timberwolves-lakers-offer/ This ain’t good for our Minnesota Illini.. nor specifically for TJ. The Lamelo trade already took the ball out of his hands, and now, I’d assume this takes some of his wing reps. Dang it.

While I agree with you.... I think when we scheduled these teams, this was always going to be true.

Corey “Jameis Winston” Parker

First, let's take everything with a grain of salt. Who knows what his actual weight was last year vs this year. Maybe last year he was 274. Maybe he's only 276 this year and they are rounding up. Also, if he can do 25 mins, I think we're good. 20 mins maybe a little too low, but 25 would...

Alperen Sengun comp maybe?

I tend to think Big Z has a role in the NBA right now. I feel like someone else maybe mentioned this in the past, but with his height, athleticism, shot blocking, and shooting ability…I just think he has a role in an NBA with Wemby being who he is..

I’m camping at Kickapoo state park… outside of Danville and Oakwood. My son told me that the Illini Offense were all here yesterday. We didn’t see them. :(

Unfortunately…he wasn’t included in the trade. Finch just realized TJ needed the ball in his hands, and now they got a ball dominant PG. Likely no real role there for him.
