BTW, Groce is still being Groce at Akron. Blurb about their first half against Cleveland St.

As bad as Akron played, they were still in the game. The Zips shot 8 of 30 from the floor and were out rebounded 23-16. They had 11 turnovers but so did the Vikings, which helped keep the game within reach.

Just wait till he gets his guys in there. ;)

But for real, rooting for him 100% to win there. Hope he gets a shot at a high major again some day. Probably one of the best people we will ever have in the organization, basketball coaching knowledge aside.

I too hope Groce gets another high major job again. Preferably at Northwestern, or another school that Illinois will be able to play 2 times a year.
