What is a college basketball 'blue blood' anyway? The earliest reference we found was from 1927, when the Times Union of Brooklyn read: "Centrals Made Up of Basketball Blue Bloods."

These are just a few of the site that have a list of that 'agreed-upon definition of blue blood'. I found these on Google you know that place you said 'turns up a cornucopia of articles about how there isn't a single agreed-upon definition and "it's hotly debated?" They all have the same list of teams on them.
You find it laughable like there is some other 'agreed-upon definition of a blue blood'. There must be some alternate universe where there are a vastly different set of 'agreed-upon definition of blue blood' teams that are blue bloods.
I find it laughable that you think there isn't an agreed-upon definition of a blue blood.
