11/28 Weekday Games

Agree and won't be surprised if Indiana doesn't meet the "high" expectations. Indiana is getting contributions from freshman (much more than North Carolina is).
Hate to say it but Indy looked great on defense and TJD is really playing well. Rooted for them against NC (No class). If Hawk can guard TJD we can beat them but will be a real defensive test for him. Think the other matchups not a problem but keeping them out of the paint looks to be the key. 2/9 from 3 point against NC.

No I didn't. I literally posted articles stating 6 teams that are blue bloods: Kansas, Duke, IU, UK UCLA, UNC. They are listed in those articles. The agreed-upon blue bloods. I'm done going back and forth. You live in a world of denial.
In one of the articles you posted is the following quote:
"While the definition and membership list of men's basketball's blue bloods are in flux, depending on who you ask and when you ask them, whichever 2022 NCAA Men's Final Four participant adds a fourth, sixth or seventh national championship to its trophy case, it'll certainly renew its membership application to the sport's club of blue bloods, thanks to a shiny, new trophy."

Sounds to me like the authors believes there isn't a definition. Its basically made up by journalists over time. And he said as much throughout the article.

I just disagree with the original poster's position, that blue blood status, once earned, is eternal. And the bolded above would indicate the same, why would you need to renew an application if you were already in? I do not consider UCLA and IU as blue bloods now; that does not mean they were not once great, or that they won't be great again.

To me (to use the old Coach K arrogant saying), blue bloods don't recruit, they select. And IU especially, has not 'selected' for most of my adult lifetime.

Here's hoping our 5-time national champion blue-blood football team wins its bowl game!

Creighton and Texas is a good game. Teams are a combined 2/19 from 3. We will see how tis pans out - not a lot of offensive production.

Creighton 1-20 from 3 with 7 to go. Texas shooting 4-15. Texas only has 3 TO's

Texas has a lot of talent but I like how we match up and they do not want pressure. Neither of these teams are as good as their rating. Let's go!

Agree, they have Marcus Carr, the Miinnesota guard from a couple years ago that Trent and Damonte made miserable. I looked it up and Creighton came into the game making 38% of 3's. They just were ice cold until the last 2 minutes.

To steal a phrase...... Creighton couldn't hit the ugly side of a hoosier, yet they still kept it close. Looking forward to our next 2 games.

At the end of every college basketball game, I find myself wishing for the Elam ending over the fouls and free throws ending.
I'm the opposite, I love 18, 19, 20 yr olds having to come up clutch in a close one. Having a chance to also trade a 1and1 miss and hit a 3 to craw closer at the end to me just makes it more exciting. Plus the Elam ending wrecks over/unders...lol

Hood-Shifino looks like the real deal, Indana will be tough with both inside and outside game.

Is Carr in the PHD program? Seems like he has been in school long enough.
This is year 5, and school #3 (Pitt, MN, TX). Due to credit transfer rules, he may not even have a BA/BS yet.

Looking at the box score for that game, it seems to be a tale of two benches.

Down 20 with 7:00 to go now. Totally forgot about Kylan Boswell. He seems to be struggling this year based on stats.

Averages 12 min, 2 pts/game with abysmal shooting numbers.
Obviously boswell reclassified - haven’t followed after he chose Arizona

Anyone watch the Creighton-Texas game? I see Creighton struggled with the 3 and just wondering if that was more a product of Texas getting good contests or an off shooting night in a road arena?

Looks like UT forces about 20 turnovers a game, Creighton excepted. That concerns me as we’ve been turnover prone. But I think we match up well. If we can keep the turnovers under about 14, think we will be competitive with a great chance to win!

I watched the second half. Creighton got good looks. Just didn't start hitting them until it was too late. At one point they were like 1-25 from three.

Texas is a very good, complete team. And we can beat them.
