And he hasn't even played 17 yet.

If he blows this for us I think he owes the team another year.

They are in danger of falling behind Oregon, who is already in the clubhouse.

Baylor and Virginia still have a ways to go, though.

Suspense is killing me. Hardy with the birdie but then we move down to +4 as a team. Yikes. Hope they can keep it together.

It said birdy on tv and he pumped his fist like it was a birdie. Maybe golfstat just messed up and will fix it later.

Wow, I was just now able to check in. Unreal. What's the deal? Weather or just a crazy bad day? Score shows Hardy with a par on 17, is that correct?

Golf stat is based on volunteers. I was one for four rounds and there is no editing or safety net. I think this one just made a mistake

Of course, to put things in perspective, the #1 ranked team, USC, is #21 so far today.

The Illinois team twitter feed said that golf channel messed up and it was only a par.

Oregon is looking good. Virginia is in trouble now.

It would be poetic justice if Illinois got to face Oregon in match play this year in Illinois.

Virginia and Baylor both started on the back 9, they have already done the hardest holes.

Virginia is in trouble as you say with so many holes to play. But at least they are on the front nine. What a hard day

After all this, the Illini still have a decent shot at finishing in 3rd position.
