If Jacobson is even slightly interested, full court press for him. Of course offer Marshall the farm first. After he tells Whitman to scram, Jacobson's your guy.
I like Ben Jacobson, but he's in the midst of a rough season right now that would put him on the wrong foot with a lot of our fans if he was hired (barring a major turnaround, currently 1-5 conf, 6-11 overall), so not sure that is the right second option choice
Perfect time to snatch him up IMO. I don't think he's ever been willing to leave UNI but maybe you can get him now?
Because it's fun to be pouty and negative on the internet in the middle of a bad game.

Yep, I agree with you here. His team this year is very hard to watch because they lack athleticism and natural scorers, but it's a struggle to get those type of players to come to UNI. This is a good time to snatch him up IF Whitman thinks he can coach.
That kinda saps the fun of being pouty and negative after a while
What about keep Groce fire and asst bring in Deon and hope it works lol. Really hoping to not have Finke as only 5 next year. Just hoping can win keep Tillmon and find the correct coach or asst
I can't argue with that. fair criticism. Still my guy, and the door to get him has never been more open.

I think if we get a good hire, we can keep the class...although that should not be the priority by any means.

I see keeping most but almost 0 keeping Tillmon. He said Ford/Groce only reason he came and the way he was treated when he hadn't signed yet equals he will be gone
