The article I read (not sure if the one linked here) kind of sounded like it might be like the MD situation with Turgeon — fans been on him. That's a really weird one. And Florida has a very good 2022 class coming in too. I wonder if White was about to get canned, because this seems like a pretty big step down for him.
And for Georgia, you'd think they'd take a chance on an up-and-comer rather than a coach from the same conference, coming off a mediocre season.
I actually think for the most part this board has not been too hysterical about this. Way more of us pointing out why BU won't leave than those kvetching about the possibility.Lmao can ya all shut up now and drop the wear is BU going bla bla bla

And not sure why you’d want an up and comer over an established coach who has experience recruiting same footprint you do.
We just gave him an extension.I hope Brad gets a raise and an extension for the speculation.
Well sure they’d love a top coach, but like you said they aren’t beating down door to go to Georgia. I don’t follow FL or SEC enough to know too much about White’s coaching acumen, but on paper he looks pretty good. Has brought in some nice recruiting classes and while he hasn’t been Billy Donavan, his record is solid+ and definitely a step up from Crean. I think a good hire for Georgia.Up and comer has upside. White has been ok, but you kind of see the ceiling of what he can establish. Of course you'd want someone with a pedigree like BU or Chris Beard above all else, but Georgia doesn't have a shot at anyone like that.
I'm not saying it's a bad hire, it just seems more like the kind of hire you make if you're ok with moving from the bottom of the conference to the middle. He's an improvement over Crean, sure, but I actually think, when taking their respective trajectories into account, Crean was doing better at Indiana than White at Florida (it's certainly debatable though). Georgia just strikes me as the kind of situation where a high-risk/high-reward proposition may have been worth it.Well sure they’d love a top coach, but like you said they aren’t beating down door to go to Georgia. You might be right. Though looking at Georgia’s roster and recruits they have signed, they might have wanted a guy who can hit the ground running — cuz 247 shows no committed recruits. Not sure what Crean has been doing, cuz GA has a fair amount of seniors.I'm not saying it's a bad hire, it just seems more like the kind of hire you make if you're ok with moving from the bottom of the conference to the middle. Yeah, I have never been overly impressed by Crean, but the degree to which he's been a failure at Georgia has been shocking. I guess I can understand the desire to just staunch the bleeding and hold off on loftier goals for a while. You might be right. I hope he gets a raise and extension after we win the NC this yearWe just gave him an extension.
I haven’t seen any of that.Lmao can ya all shut up now and drop the wear is BU going bla bla bla
And Tom Brady is retired. People say stuff all the time that even they don't believe. I don't fear that Underwood is going anywhere anytime soon but anyone who thinks a statement like that means anything is fooling themselves.Lmao can ya all shut up now and drop the wear is BU going bla bla bla

But he’s been thinking about it a lot- a lot!!Tom Crean wants you to know that he’s not interested in the Missouri job.

But what about bRaD/!?1

Since BU seems intent on checking off those bonuses, we should bump up his Final Four and Natty bonuses in the next one. $1 mil and $2.5 mil respectively?
I forgot that Chester coached there for awhile. Still, seems a bit early to give him the bump to HC (at least that's what I'll tell myself). The KSU message boards have mentioned BU but most say that is not realistic. They also are throwing Chester’s name out there too.
I think White's seat was getting pretty warm at Florida. Middling results at a place where they expect to win titles. If White can get Georgia to mediocrity, that would be a big step forward for that program. They've only made 3 NCAA tournaments in the last 20 years & haven't made it out of the 1st weekend since 95'-96.That's a really weird one. And Florida has a very good 2022 class coming in too.
