I think we need a 2023 thread
This. I was honestly expecting 1-3. Still a lot to work on - bullpen and scoring with bases loaded and no outs would be a start.Gimmie a 2-2 split against the reigning champs and unanimous pick to repeat in Houston any day….let’s head home and crank it……GO SOX!!!!!
Sox offense and starting pitching off to a decent start...
I guess I didn't miss anything today except for Kopech serving up batting practice. Ouch.
LOL 5 games. He made it 5 games and didn’t even play the field.
Lynn picked up right where Kopech left off the other day.
Eloy is like the Pelican's Zion Williamson. They are both large muscular men on large frames and their muscles often can't take that strain. That's why they are hurt so often. They need some kind of special trainers or workout routines to try to cope better.
He’s on a real team friendly contract and a lot can happen between now and the end of 2024, but if things keep going this way, it’s hard to see his option getting picked up.
Which would have been an absolutely absurd notion back when he signed the extension.
After a rough loss yesterday, the White Sox came from behind to beat Baltimore 7-6 in the 10th. They looked much better doing it, too.
Relief pitching has been a real concern for a couple of years now. And, yes, far too many walks for the whole staff.
