By an experienced, lead guard.

Guess having one of those is no guarantee.

His teammates didn't do him any favors. He got doubled in a vulnerable spot, and got very little reaction to come to the ball. Might have been a good spot to try to throw it off a Furman player.

Amazing finish! Fun for us as fans of Madness.

Clark , for VA , with a total loss of composure , thinking he could run out the clock with a heave-ho just gave the game away to Furman......He also missed the second of two FT's right before the ending..... Being the most experienced player on VA but he flinched and cost them the game ........I think they had a timeout left also...........

On another game getting ready to start , they just announced that Brandon Miller will have ARMED security around him at all times after concerning messages have been uncovered regarding his safety...........................

Oh what a world we live in now-a-days.................
I see it as Alabama playing the victim card, trying to deflect where proper blame should be placed. I have not followed the issue much beyond what is portrayed by the mainstream entertainment entities (so-called "media"), but the way 'Bama has tried to spin this from the get-go has not left any positive impressions.

Fun trivia:

Kenpom color codes surviving tournament teams in red while the tournament is on, so you can see at a glance who's alive. At the start of the tournament, you'd be forgiven for not scrolling down and seeing that there are still some teams down in the ratings, but this year is AMAZING at how much scrolling you need to do (keep in mind there are 363 Div I teams):

88 Furman, no that's not the lowest
91 Lousiana
SIX more teams between 103 and 114
127 Kennesaw St
146 UNC Asheville
161 N. Kentucky
171 Texas A&M Corpus Christi
216 Howard
and drum roll please, sitting at 299 Fairleigh Dickinson, negative 10.79 points to an average D1 team.

OMG Clark threw it away for Virginia lol
That was a terrible decision.
I can't imagine the burden that young man is now going to carry through life with him. One moment of panic and poor judgement, nationally televised and immortal. I mean, if you're trapped and that's your choice, make sure you can wing it at least 80 feet.

My quick opinion. Alabama has totally mishandled this situation, and now it is exploding on the national scene.

This seems to happen to Virginia alot.. Good thing he got his Natty
Iā€™d like to congratulate Furman and compliment them on their cool sounding mascot.

I never actually knew their mascot. When I heard their name before I usually just thought of the OJ trial. Lol

Hate to say it but Mizzou is about the be a big problem. Dennis Gates has things rolling there and they have Kyle Smithpeters on staff to funnel good players from the nation's top JUCO over there.

As bad of a play as it was, fortunately Clark was the hero in the 2019 Elite 8 win over Purdue, making the last second 30 foot pass to Diakite that sent the game to overtime. So hopefully he focuses on his National Championship the rest of his life and not today's game.
