Gosh, if this year illini could have played defense remotely close to the way MSU plays defense.. we would be watching them in the final four... too bad we don't have a defensive side of the ball..
They’ve been competitive. They weren’t guarding Auburn’s back screens and cuts very well.
Golden and it's really not close.
Wow Auburn just got away with the most obvious walk I have seen all year. Stopped his dribble then bunny hopped closer to rim and then took another step before shooting.
What a fitting end to this !!!! sandwich of a season. Gross all the way around, any way you slice it.

I think it's Sampson. I don't get the hate for him that much outside of the Eric Gordon stuff but that was more Webers fault for not getting Rose.
All of these teams play a defensive style that in no way remotely resembles the Illinois defensive scheme.
I will be pulling for Duke. They not only have the best player who shows up every game, they seem to have the highest hoops IQ collectively in most situations and match-ups.
Of course, with 4 #1 seeds, there truly is no easy game for anyone. For certain, they all have talent and play hard...no softies on any roster.
