That’s damn near criminal. It’s crystal clear what the intent was. The ball was long gone and he still finished with an elbow coming down hard to the face. Why would he possibly bring his arms down at that point? I think the answer is obvious.
Ya, this really does show it. Why would he bring his arms down so forcefully when the ball was nowhere nearby.

Couldn't agree more! I guess we need to ask Kevin Warren since he or anyone in the B10 office has not even acknowledged the play. Less than two days after Griffin stepping on Stefanovich he received a suspension; Sisssoko clobbers Ayo with clear intent to harm = nothing. Brutal dereliction of responsibility to protect players.

FWIW, I took a shot in the eye from a smoked baseball during BP one year. Hairline fracture between the maxilla frontal process (inside lower corner near upper nose) and the Infraorbital foramen (just below eye, upper cheekbone).
My eye was swollen completely shut for several days.

Im only guessing, but looking at Ayo’s face swelling I’m thinking it’s that area in the lower corner near the upper nasal bone. I think there would be more eye swelling if it was associated the upper or lower orbital bones.
Pure speculation on my part, but I got to use fun words and post a detailed eye socket diagram!

Edit: shagging balls from outfield near the lip of the grass/dirt. Hit the lip and shot straight up into my eye. Knocked me out cold ~ 30 sec.
If you were gonna question why I didn’t use my glove. 🙄🤣

I really hope we're not trying to "keep things under wraps" in regards to concussions
Why not? It’s an individual’s medical condition and none of your (or my) damn business.

What if, BU wanted it out ? Michigan prepares for Ayo not playing and he plays. Gave permission for a freshman to leak it. Just a thought
That’s what he screamed at Cole during the Whisky game: “NOT ONLY DID YOU MAKE A SILLY TURNOVER BUT I SPECIFICALLY TOLD YOU TO LEAK THE CONCUSSION AND YOU COULDN’T EVEN DO THAT!” Then, as soon as the game ended, Cole worked in Wisky’s gym on his handles and then posted on Insta. Attaboy, Cole!

Perhaps....but that's like a Bruce Pearl type move. BU doesn't strike me as that type of coach.
Dear God, you’re joking, right? It’s none of Michigan’s business who on Illinois is hurt and there is nothing wrong with social media gamesmanship. If friggin Michigan is relying on a 19 year old’s social media posts to game plan then they have bigger problems.

And @BretMyBeachHouse, how can you like a post comparing a maybe not entirely true tweet with what Bruce Pearl did? 😀 Rethink that “Like” or beach house disqualification.

The play where Ayo got injured did not look like a concussion-inducing type play to me. It looked like a strike to the face, not the brain-rattling type of collisions that cause concussions (primarily in football, but of course in other sports). That said, he surely didn't look like himself on the two free throws that followed. But I doubt someone who just had their nose broken would shoot good free throws.

Sort of reminded of the time Brad Miller got cheapshotted across the face by Rajon Rondo late in OT in Game 5 of the 2009 first round series between the Bulls and Celtics.

Well done. Thank you Dr.

Does anyone happen to know if he's even getting any conditioning in? Or is he completely shut down? If he's shut down completely for much longer, now you start wondering if he does come back....how effective can he be? First he was going to miss Nebraska, then Wisconsin....then the ole, he's out indefinitely. BU was also on record after the NE game, as saying that the last three games mean nothing.

Not sure where the mentality is at this point
