[FONT=&quot]And he's hiring representation, as he puts it, so Goodluck is off the transfer board.

Duke freshman point guard Derryck Thornton is transferring, sources told ESPN.
Got recruited over, so heading somewhere else. And he had reclassified from 2016 to 2015, so that didn't work out.

I saw an article that he was more unhappy about how he was used in the system than the minutes. He wants to be more of the finisher than distributor.

With that attitude, I'll pass.

Makes you think the coaching staff knows something about either the legal situations or Thorne if we are just jumping into the transfer market now.

Or they could just be preparing themselves. They may not know anything yet about how things are going to go, but in the event some of those guys aren't back, you cannot wait until those decisions have been made or there won't be many impact transfers left. Better to get in early, establish a relationship, and if a scholarship becomes available, have someone who wants to take it.

Well it's interesting because we've been hearing about guys leaving schools for a few weeks now, and today is the first I've read about us reaching out to any of them.

Some roster turnover should be expected every year. Even more true when you have 2 pending waivers and 3 players facing criminal charges.

I can understand reaching out to a transfer big considering Thorne's situation. I find it hard to believe they will allow another year. But to me, it seems they are anticipating a 2/3 leaving the team, either voluntarily or forced. I am predicting forced.
