Like what freshmen gave us, Jackys solid as well. Vaaks defense just not there, not great foot speed. Andrej shot selection should be better once Mirk returns sermed to force some.

Twins need to play like upper classmen. More assertive and effective, missed shots and rebounds. Poor showing by both.

My goodness I love the experience our team gained from this game! This is gonna help tremendously during the season and in March baby! Let's freaking get it! I-L-L

Before getting any injury updates in the upcoming hours, I would take the following if offered: Mirk is playing by the UConn game, Andre for the Texas Tech game, and Tomi for the season opener.

Coleman is going to the league...

He's different then Keaton but there were times when he was THE guy who I wanted with the ball.

Hot take: our full squad beats that Baylor team by double digits.
We ever going to get a full squad?

Any chance mirk is trolling again?

Not to state the obvious but a refracture in a non athlete at this point would usually result in starting from square 1 and then taking a much more conservative timeline for thee 2nd go. Have had 3 stress fractues (never surgery though) in feet and there's has been a range of 3 weeks to 3 months getting back to normal and im not putting the same strain on feet.

We better be prepared for an extended mirk absence.

Exhibition thoughts…

1) glad we want to pick up the pace, but after two games, I think we need a tad more middle ground - this is too fast. I’ll chalk it up to rotations mostly, but I’m getting some Alabama PTSD from last year where we lose our minds a bit.

2) monitoring the rebounding results.

3) I like Ethan Brown. Loved how he played against Cincy. But to me, even if he defends a little more than Vaaks, the gap offensively seems notable

4) defense was there in second half. To a degree, I think Baylor’s shooting made the first half seem a lot worse than it was - but hey, they made them.

And same timeline for Z as Andrej

Didn’t watch, just observing here. I think coach knows what he has in the older guys. They are trying to tune a few things with them while seeing what we have in the new guys. Also, let’s look at last year at this time. Petro had way more tick than Keaton and we said we were 12 deep to really only see 8?

Same.

And I don't think he defended any better than Vaaks tonight. Frankly he was getting blown by over and over and big reason why Brad pulled him in 1st half and iced him IMO. Vaaks size and ability to get to the hoop (big IF....he doesn't settle for contested jumpers) is just so noticeable out there. Vaaks will never be good defensively....but he's got the size and strength that Brown simply doesn't have right now.
