Bad clock management though before the half. However did tack on three more points. Hope they come out in the second half and execute not like the Packers game and come out flat.

I'm wondering if Nagy feels Cohen is a better fit for this offense and Howard is just seeing reduced playing time. This first half has easily been the most dominant offensive performance I've ever seen from the Bears in my lifetime.
Trubisky's 5 TDs are the most in a 1st half for a Bears QB and the most in a game in the Super Bowl era.
Only thing that is concerning is the lack of use of Jordan Howard in the 1st half though some of that may be more to game flow.
Is TB really that bad?
I’ve never seen such a lopsided score in a Bears game.... ever. The game is out of network so I am game tracking but was surprised there has been no defensive points scored yet. It’s all offense today. Is TB really that bad?
Anybody who legitimately understands football schematics who can tell me if we 1) did anything different today than we had been or 2) did what we have been doing just way more effectively?
Interested in the adjustments vs improvement balance of the team today.
I agree with your goal but 2-2 would be fine.I tried going game by game through the rest of the schedule to see how we could get to 10 wins. I gave up...the NFL has been wildly unpredictable through these first 4 weeks. The NFC seems like a huge cluster right now. I think the Seahawks, Cardinals, and 49ers are not playoff contenders but everyone else you could make an argument for. The Rams look really good, but everyone else has been up and down.
Next 4 games are against the AFC East. I think going 3-1 is the goal and then we'll see how the rest of the NFC looks.
On Sunday WGN Sports was reporting that Trubisky is the first qb in NFL history to throw for 6 tds, have at least 350 yards passing, and at least 50 yards rushing in a game.Just to put the Bears' 6 offensive TDs in a game in perspective... The last time the Bears scored 6 offensive TDs in a game was 48-14 win over the Buccaneers (again) in Dec of 1986. That was the second time they did it that season (44-7 over the Bengals in September) on their way to a 14-2 record.
They rushed for 245 yards. They sacked Steve Young (yes, THAT Steve Young) 3 times and intercepted him twice, and limited Tampa to 50 yards rushing on 22 carries. Mike Tomczak got the start, but Doug Flutie (!!) got in too, and they both rushed for a TD and passed for a TD. Payton had 176 yards from scrimmage and scored 2 TDs.
Its easy to forget because the seasons all run together, but the Bears did have a couple of big blowout wins in 2012 (Lovie's last year) 41-3 over Jacksonville and 51-20 over the Titans. As a kid I remember the 61-7 beat down they gave Bart Starr's Packers in 1980.I’ve never seen such a lopsided score in a Bears game.... ever. Nagy talking about the Cohen vs Howard usage situation. He certainly pushed the right buttons yesterday. I would love to have both on the team going forward, but moving one of those guys could definitely bring back some draft picks we’re so low on.

Yep, and you better have a 2nd back because one of them will likely miss some games at some point this season. No way, having two guys with that kind of talent who contrast with one another so well is an ideal scenario especially with such a creative offensive mind coaching them.
And all of that is necessary when you're nursing along a young QB.
