Make sense. It is interesting that while there is no lack of good back-court players in Big10 (I didn't even list Franz Wagner and Jacob Young), all players you would immediately think of for the 1st team are big guys, except for Ayo, for sure
Like this list except Wagner as defensive player. Frazier way more effect on games and probably others too like Kofi, Dickinson, Jackson-Davis, etc.

It's in Rosemont right off 294. Big Ten HQIs there a B1G Capitol you can storm if Kofi isn't first team and/or Ayo doesn't get POY?

sporting news had five B1G players on their all America teams- Garza and Ayo (first team), Kofi and Dickinson (second), and TJD (third).
if B1G awards go consistent with that, that would be the first team all conference. I could see TJD getting bumped down due to Indiana’s lack of success. I think Liddell has a better case than he does. And Dickinson could get bumped down in favor of Livers or Wagner, but probably not.

This is GREAT!!
When was the last time Illinois had 2 players on 1st team in Coaches and Media? To top it off the "B10 Champions" only had 1 and that one is questionable

Congrats to Ayo, Kofi, and Belo on the honors!
Obviously wanted POY for Ayo, but I do think his injury hurt him (through no fault of his own). Him being out during a critical stretch stopped his momentum in closing the gap. And the team performing so well in his absence also worked against him.
But none of that matters if we win the BTT and go on a deep run in the NCAA tourney. Get it done, fellas.

2006 maybe? James and Dee made first team don't know if it was in both. If not then definitely 2005 when we had 3: Dee, Deron, and Luther.

No Trent on All-defensive team? That is the biggest letdown of all time! Players averaged almost 6 points less a game when he guarded them than they did in other games!!
