It's a surprising trade considering no picks came back. Davidson must be banking on a Hall resurgence and to resign Foligno. Not quite sure I see the full logic behind the move from the Hawks perspective but Davidson has pulled the right strings thus far in his tenure

I like Hall as a compliment to Bedard since he needs talent around him, but I’m not sure he’s the best mentor for him lol.

There’s a decent chance they could flip Hall for a good pick if he does have a resurgence. At the very least he’s a good luck charm for getting the first overall pick lol.

Hall will play alongside and mentor Bedard and Boston received salary cap relief to extend players already on the roster. Win-Win for both sides

Hall should have VG production, playing with Bedard and on PP1. Davidson should have no problem moving him for a 1st, especially if the Hawks retain (and I think they will).

Foligno's long in the tooth, but he'd be a good 4C and is a great culture guy. Hope he signs.

Weaponizing cap space is a shrewd play. Davidson has myriad options.

Got Foligno locked up. Pretty hefty overpay, but so what? Great guy to show the young guys the ropes

Now get Domi.

Possible Canucks trade: Garland/Boeser + 11 OA for 19 OA + 2nd?
Penguins/Dubas too: 14OA + cap dump for 19OA +

those won't happen til draft day, and ONLY if a kid the Hawks really covet is available

I'd do both of those trades right now...

I am interested in pick #19. Also interested to see if Davidson has anything else up his sleeve…

I'm not sure I'd take him at #19, but I am hoping that somehow the Hawks find a way to snatch Andew Cristall and reunite him with Bedard.

Oliver Moore is a real speedster. Davidson making it apparent he wants guys that can fly

skating is #1 with Davidson and Doneghy

Gonna be a much more exciting team to watch this year, that's for sure!

it is, but Moore, Korchinski, Nazar and a bunch more kids aren't gonna be on the team. which is 100% the right move. if the Hawks win the lottery again, heads will explode

Such sad news. Basically the exact opposite of when Dollar Bill died. We have him to thank for bringing the franchise out of the dark ages

Built it from the ground up. When he took over, probably had 8K fans in the seats. He transformed it to sellouts for how many years?

Looks like Danny is now the man in charge.

it will be interesting to see how things change , if at all , with the new generation .
