'Unfair' is what first comes to mind. Give 97 a permanent locker.

RIP, Bobby.

I just woke up from a nap and this is the last thing I expected to see on the Loyalty front page.....I had to set down quick as I tried to understand this ....Just read the uplifting story about him and admired his will to walk again.....

So sad.......so tragic.....RIP Bobby..........

I don’t even know what to say. My heart is aching…I’m at work and not even ashamed to be crying right now.

Bobby was so inspirational and an incredible human. Seeing that snippet of him, pre-accident, signing the autograph for the little boy pushed me over the edge. Just a phenomenal player/human/warrior.

Prayers for him and his family. God bless you Bobby. Walk in heaven now, my friend.

People celebrate in different ways, I choose to celebrate Bobby's life. I believe in my almighty God and I know he is in a better place. I choose not to be selfish and wish he were to ease any pain I may feel now that he is gone. While I did not know him personally he was an inspiration to all of illini nation. As such he will be missed for the example he set and those he uplifted in doing so. He can now rest in peace, our farther has decided it is time for him to come home. I also choose to celebrate my passion for all things illini and the return of Kofi and what that means to the illini BB nation. He made the choice to come back to his temporary home. RIP Bobby you will live in the hearts and minds of Illini nation always!!!

I don't have the words to bring comfort to the Roundtree family, all I can say he is in our thoughts and will continue to be remembered as part of the Illini family.

Such terrible news and the loss of a courageous young man driven to be his best. We can only support his family in this tragedy and send our best to those he left behind. What a great example of the spirit of the Illini and the fight for the best. Bobby will be missed by the entire Illini nation.

RIP Bobby.

RIP. What a shock to see today.

I’m unsure of Illinois football team awards, but if we have heart/hustle/effort type award, it would be a great award to name after Bobby Roundtree.
I'd like to see each Illinois team honor him in some way. 97 on helmets, a little patch on the shoulder, anything to remember Bobby Roundtree. He deserves that kind of recognition.
