Congrats on the hire Wisconsin
But I do have news like my name was Jeff Johnson

Expect many starters to not play in the bowl
Leaving the D and backfield with a major hole

I know to be fact it’s over 10
Reliaquest is just a matter of when

So thank you Brown brothers, D Line and Spoon.

Tampa Bay and all you floozies see you SOON

I hope you're wrong, theres only 1 for sure top 3 rd players on the team and I would hope those that are planning to he drafted not only want to increase draft stock, but have a competitive fire and pride for the orange and blue. I hope to see a full roster go out and compete with an SEC team and not go in thin and get embarrassed

There aren't 10 draft picks on this team right now (that are eligible at least)

This looks to be outdated from before yesterday's action. I think we are a near lock for Tampa on January 2. If Music City wants to avoid repeat, my guess is Music City takes Minnesota, and Duke's Mayo gets Iowa.

Need to make ILL vs Mizzou happen right now
I doubt this will happen after the Iowa loss. This was an option before action on Friday/Saturday. Only way we slide to Music City Bowl is if only two B1G teams make NY6, and that is almost a near certainty not to happen.

I think that’s probably what’s going to happen. Even though Minnesota lost to Iowa, Minnesota has an overall better record at 8-4 so they will select them and Iowa will get the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. Iowa losing to Nebraska at the end isn’t good.

Do players that commit to playing in the Reese’s Senior Bowl typically sit out their team’s bowl game? Seems contradictory.
no
but senior bowl games are hardly “ real “ contests . they go 1/2 - 2/3 speed

think “flag football with pads on “

One scenario that’s a possibility is if Purdue beats Michigan next Sunday and USC loses to Utah, than that may open up a spot up for the Citrus Bowl for us. I can’t see the New Years 6 placing Purdue ahead of Penn State. Why? Because Penn State beat Purdue in the beginning of the year and they have a 10-2 record. In that scenario, it would be a dream for the B1G revenue wise because essentially you would have a scenario where you could see Michigan and Ohio State possibly in the CFP, with Penn State in one of the New Years 6 Bowl’s as an at-large team and Purdue in the Rose. That would leave Illinois in the Citrus and Iowa or Minnesota in the ReliaQuest and the Music City.

That scenario would also require TCU avoiding upset or Penn St jumping Tennessee in rankings, which is unlikely.

If both Purdue and KSU win on Saturday, I think Penn State will be relegated to Citrus Bowl, regardless of what happens in Pac 12 Championship game. Again, Penn State would need to jump Tennessee on Tuesday's release.

If only KSU wins and USC wins, it will be interesting to see what happens. There may be a turf war over what to do with two Big 12 teams, especially if TCU drops out of top 4 and OSU jumps them. Tennessee may be odd ball out then, but SEC has deep pockets. Would love to be fly on wall in those back room discussions.

If you notice, the only site that is projecting us to the Music City Bowl is 247sports. They are projecting Minnesota to go to the ReliaQuest Bowl when both teams have the same overall record and conference record but we beat them during the season. Also they lost to Iowa but we beat Iowa so interesting that they came up with that projection.

Again, head to head matchups are not relevant for bowl selection purposes.
