We could probably eat 1 more loss and still get in. Had we lost the TX game and the Michigan game in OT? No way
Easy to talk about that though. We had four big ten road games against tourney teams where we lost in the last minute. We did not have the best luck this year but that happens
Illinois had incredible luck this year.
They played the easiest possible Big 10 schedule. Still only went 11-9.
They had incredible comebacks not seen hardly ever:
18 points at the half vs NW
15 points 2nd half vs UCLA
9 points 2nd half vs MSU
7 points final 2 minutes vs MI
5 points final minute vs Texas
If just one of those games goes the other way (and these were all 95+% Win Prob Against games) they are out of the tourney.
This has not been a good season. It’s very similar to Lovie’s bowl season.
I’m guessing 2-11 vs Quad 1s will be the weakest at large birth ever
I am one but I actually give a !!!! about basketball.

I feel if the B1G didn't get paid their 1 unit per game played in the postseason, the games would have different outcomes during the regular season. No way out of the 280 games played, so many should be impacted by the guys not enrolled in classes on the court. Not saying it's a conspiracy, but complacency..
