I have completely run out of Eeyore awards for the year (I never anticipated needing so many, and just didn’t order enough). At the beginning of the season I stated that we needed to enjoy the ride, ‘cause it was gonna be a lotta ups and downs. Welp, here we are!
I could be making millions being a therapist, specifically for this group, from November 1st to April 1st alone.

Actually, adding services during the calling for our coaching staff's heads through May, then the portal meltdown that takes us through August.....I think this can work!

Dan, any position's available?

I was at that game yesterday and it was nauseatingly annoying. He was talking ALL game! He was talking trash to our fans! To lose to a guy like that makes it infuriating.
So was I, and he became annoying in the first minute of the game, and it only got worse as the game went on.

Definitely a player you dislike unless he is on your team.

He’s a punk, but when he can back it up like a performance like that you just have to let the little b!t*h talk his smack.

Umm we already showed we can handle Gillespie this year (Gillespie shot 6/20 with 15 pts in our comfortable win).

Gillespie really isn't the prototype we've struggled with - hes not overly quick. And Trimble is athletic, but i dont know. He's not really a typical heavy usage guy.

I think i just flat out disagree on BYU - id love playing them. It's a ton of really ridiculously tough AJ shots, and he's capable, no doubt. But it's a lot of booty ball midrange - not a pick n roll. And they're like reallllly bad on defense.

Lville, if Brown is playing, is the one of those 4 that would be bar none, my least favorite draw.

It's funny how you have no problem allowing a team into the tournament based on winning 3 or 4 games in a row in their conference tournament but your mind cannot be opened to the idea of letting in a team that won all 31 of its regular season games and rewarding that kind of an accomplishment.
Accepting the conference rules is very different than choosing that team to be in the tournament.

Gavitt on CBS said wins above bubble (WAB) and KPI and "results based" metrics are most impactful to seeding.
Actually I think he said that they were impactful for determining who was making the tourney . . . I don’t think he spoke about seeding at all beyond stating they were watching every game through tomorrows’.

There you go again, talking down to anyone who dares to criticize the teams' flaws or Underwoods' flaws.

Sure. Let's just go along with your ridiculous takes. Nothing is ever wrong, the losses don't mean anything, Underwood is the best HC ever, and we're gonna win March Madness!
This comment is out of complete rage and despair. You did not name one thing he said that resembles a ridiculous take or any of the things you listed.

And yes, we will be a 3 seed. Is that the prediction you're mad about?

There's discussion here if the illini are a 3 or 4 seed. It doesn't matter if they are a 2, 3, 4 or 5 seed. Here's how I think it will play out. We'll win a lackluster 1st game. Then we will lose to a less talented team who is quicker and plays with more hustle in round 2.
This is who we are. 19 to 23 year old kids can't flip a switch overnight and be different.

Ultimately, how you think it will play out won’t determine a thing. We’ve proven we can beat a 6 seed and we can lose to a 6 seed. It’s just a matter of whether or not we go to overtime.

I hated his guts by the end of the game.

Wisconsin shot 10-41 from 3 against us yesterday
Boyd and Blackwell were 1 of 1 from the FT line and badgers only shot 5 total the entire game! How refs call games has a massive impact on these tournament games. They let them play today but vs us we were whistled when we didnt even touch boyd or blackwell. I still have the red !!! about missed FTs and poor officating because it is likely to knock us of the 2 seed line. Winning the first game and getting a possible 7 seed instead of a 6 or 5 in round 2 is a big deal. And sure we should have made FTs or got another board or stop but the way the game was called and called poorly cost us too and we will not be a 2 seed gor those reasons
I pray we get better refs and make FTs in the tourney.

Teams on the bubble are likely sweating right now. Dayton playing for A10 auto bid tomorrow and Ole Miss down 1 at half SEC semis. This is the pre-madness I come to expect the day before bracket reveal.

This made me laugh. I hope Tomi can snap out of his slump. He just looks tired and lumbering... his whole season has been down, up, and back down.
He's in his own head and has been for sometime.

The level of hesitation on his 3 point attempts the last couple of months speaks volumes. His confidence shooting is broken and that really hampers the offense.

Not the worst. Although, I hate that we'd be in Duke's section. Can you imagine a Missouri/Illinois game in St. Louis for a trip to the S16?
Missouri is soo hot/cold that I could legitimately see it happening...Louisville has been hit or miss as well.

Iowa State is poised to get their "get back" against us so why not ...
