Bagent almost pulled it out. Picked a bad time to flutter a pretty ugly looking duck up there
Latest report on Fields is that he dislocated his thumb, popped it back in, and tried to play but was unable to grip the ball. He's set to have an MRI to determine how bad the damage is.
Jimmy Garoppolo ruled out for this Sunday vs. the Bears. So the QB matchup in that game will Tyson Bagent vs. either Brian Hoyer or Aidan O'Connell.
Ian Rapoport reported this morning that the Fields injury is one that will only keep him out 2-3 weeks. He's expected to miss next week at the Chargers but could be back Week 9 at New Orleans.

Bears up 14-3 at half. Game hasn't been pretty to watch for most of it. Luckily, Hoyer has looked worse than Bagent.
