It’s early, but that’s gotta he pretty demoralizing for the Brewers.

And I was pretty skeptical of the Lorenzo Cain signing, but he looks to be - by far - the best player on that team.

I just heard that the 2 runs given up in the 4 game series is the best for a 4 game series since 1919. :thumb:

And it's the first 4 game sweep since 1908 when scoring less than 4 runs in any of the games.

Is it good to shut out one of your main division rivals 5 times in one month?

Heard that the Brewers are have one loss versus last place teams. They are something like 5-15 versus the rest.

Hey champaignchris, I always appreciate your insights. Any idea what's going on with Addison Russell's bat? The pop seems to have disappeared.

He’s got the highest walk rate and lowest k rate of his career so far. His approach has been great. He’s having bad luck - .275 BABIP - compared to .295 for his career. I think it’ll sort itself out. It may have already started happening in the last two games.

Bleacher Nation did a write-up on him today.

In other news, Rizzo is batting leadoff tonight! He seemed to love it there last year.

And Darvish does his (not so good) think again. Starting to get worried that his World Series performance last year wasn't just a blip but was a harbinger

The debate over whether or not Kyle Schwarber can play left field is over. He can't. He needs to hit a ton if he is going to play in the field.
