Brad is keeping an eye on what happens at OK State …

Oklahoma State was so mad about BU leaving they threw every resource they had at keeping Boyton and Lamont Evans from following him out of sheer spite.

It was scary at the time, and those first BU teams really suffered for the staff's unfamiliarity with the way he wanted to run things. Really gratifying to see how we came out of that smelling like roses in the end, and the much better off party.

You could say much the same about Cal poaching OA and Chin really.

BU is not a perfect basketball coach, but his second solution is always better than his first, and the willingness to learn and evolve and correct is maybe the single most important ability to have in that role.

For Geoff ... NIU or EIU ...

For Chester ... East coast schools ...
Perhaps Chester could reunite with Jayden Epps as Georgetown's head coach if current Coach Cooley bails after just one year to get out of a much worse situation than he expected at Georgetown and takes one of the many other college coaching vacancies that will be available . . .

Not sure if this is in jest or not, but given Cooley is likely almost the 5th highest earning college coaches in America (and probably has a huge buyout) and has a top #15 recruiting class (#1 in Big East), I highly doubt he is going anywhere this off season.

Honestly you’re probably right …

Brad is more interested in seeing what happens at Kentucky and Oklahoma State … Iykyk … @illini0440👀
Like Chin flipping out on players after the game Saturday behind closed doors and Bruiser flipping out on him in coaches meeting afterward?

Maybe O.A. doesn't wanna be a part of that drama anymore...

Normally, I would agree but I wonder if UM will give Howard one more year based on a few factors. His health issues this season forced him to miss a chunk of the season (and firing him might also be a bad look). Losing Hunter. I know one could argue that that is on him but nowadays with all the transferring, I am not so sure this wasn't beyond his control (seems to be beyond anyone's control). And third, McDaniel's academic woes resulting in the weird away game suspension. Something, I assume, that was also beyond his control. But what do I know?

/s . . . although I suspect that Cooley regrets leaving Providence.
Serious question for insiders: given the current rapidly declining state of NCAA power and enforceable rule making authority, what is there to preclude a current Head Coach like Ed Cooley at Georgetown who has a signed top 15 recruiting class from jumping ship and taking that class with him to another school willing to pay his buyout?

I am very proud of myself for my mind immediately going to Boynton and Antigua coming back here, and not freaking out about him going to those schools

Well you don’t have to rub it in. Lol
Some of us are working at about a 5th grade level apparently. (Me)
