Can I get a GIF or some other hint about the identity of the recent big NIL donors? I think I recall a mention of a mustache which leads me to either Nick Offerman or Khan, but maybe that was a fever dream.

Nooooo! I wanted Juwon to stay at Michigan forever. 2 guaranteed wins every year. Like the Tommy Amaker days.
Hopefully they go hire Jalen Rose, Chris Weber, Sean Higgins or another ex NBA alum.
If they were smart they would bring Beilein back but he is 71 and probably does not want to deal with NIL and transfer portal.

Lot of good positions opening up - Ohio State, Michigan, Washington, Louisville, OK State. Less attractive Vanderbuilt
LaMont Paris just signed extension at SC
Dustin May FAU, Nate Oates (AL). Musselman (ARK), Beard (ole Miss), Miller (XAV) will have their choice of jobs if they want to move. Might be too early for Miller to move. Oates signed extension in early 2023. Musselman signed extension Nov 2023.

Juwon rank only behind Brian Ellerbee as worst Michigan basketball coach in modern era

I look forward to forging a new chapter in our tradition of defeating UM at hoops.

If you ignore football for too long it’ll be too far gone with the way NIL is moving right now
The sport of college football was always my first love, I have always been a believer in our program in the past, and have the utmost respect for Bret Bielema. And this isn't the time or the thread to really get into it.

But Brad Underwood is engaged in a fight where meaningful success and glory is possible. The other side of Kirby, well...

Football might not ever be #1, but I think we can crack the top 10 (in the B1G).

Football still pays the bills even at a place like Illinois. The whole NIL fund got north of 65+ million in the last month. We have enough for both.

Jeff Goodman was saying on Field of 68 top tier coaches don’t want Michigan because of academic transfer restrictions and lack of NIL so they’ll probably have to get a MVU or MWC coach
