This was the lineup in the late 1950s. One of my favorite memories as a 10 year old was getting home from school and watching the final innings of Don Cardwell’s no-hitter in his first start for the Cubs. It doesn’t seem right watching the Cubs on a channel other than WGN and singing the Holy Mackeral song about watching the Cubs on WGN tv after a win.
Not a Cubs fan (Go Cards!) but they need to bring this back. It’s classic!

We’d be crazy to not consider him …

He’s elite … Recruiting … And X & O …

It’s not easy to get kids into Stanford … He brought in 5 star and top 100 talent …

Xavier … Brought in Trey Green, Reid Ducharme, Quincy Olivari, Dayvion McKnight, and Souley Boum …

He also was instrumental in developing Colby Jones into an NBA guy …

That would be one way to do it. They go after two of our portal targets and we swoop in and work to take their top assistant.

So Sean Miller poaches our transfer portal targets, so we turn around and poach his assistant?

I'll miss Chester. Loved having an alum who bleeds orange and blue back on the sidelines. I saw the team loading the buses before the BTT Championship in Minneapolis and Chester looked even more locked in than the players. Staring straight ahead, focused, pissed off, ready to win a trophy. I loved seeing that passion.

My only question....if Chester is gone, who will get the crowd loud? We know the Krush don't do it when they should and, at more times than it should have been since that's not his job, it was Chester getting the crowd loud this season. :ROFLMAO:

What is Rod Clark's track record? Not a ton on 247 but I know those sometimes aren't updated.

Curious where the Brad/Sean/You dynamic stems from. I know there’s lots of connections between PHX & Chicago/Illinois..

Sunday mornings in Chicago:

Dick the Bruiser: 'World's most dangerous wrestler''World's most dangerous wrestler' Dick the Bruiser: 'World's most dangerous wrestler''World's most dangerous wrestler'
I was honestly just talking to a millennial friend of mine (half my age) over a beer the other day about wrestling in my youth. Dick, Harley Race, Cowboy Bob, and many others were part of my reminiscing.... fun childhood memories. I just went to Bruisers Wiki page.... wasn't aware of the brawl in the bar in Detroit.... funny REAL stuff unlike nowadays. In my younger adult days (1980's) I spent some time in Tampa where a lot of the Pros tend to migrate to, to this day even. Met a few of the up-n-comers at the time, namely the Hart Bros and some others I'm not remembering....

Unless you are trying to line up Yaklich as the heir apparent, I'm not sure why 47 is an issue? How long does a typical assistant stay? 3-5 years? 10 seems to be an extreme rarity. Are you worried about him retiring or dying of old age before then?
Neither. Just making an observation about age. At 47, you're three years away from getting AARP invites and joining the Senior ChampionsTour. To me that's not exactly young. And I'm an old fart of 71.
