Ha, I knew a guy named Richard Shaver. Didnt know if that was his name or his occupation. Long before anyone had heard of manscaping so it was a lot funnier then.

Dusty May is from the area (Solsberry, IN) and he really wanted to go to Indiana and, of course, the fans wanted him to come too. IU decided to give Woodson another year and May certainly wasn't waiting around when other universities were coming forth with the bags.

Note: Solsberry is just south of Bloomington, out in the sticks; maybe 20 minutes drive. Really feel like IU messed up on this one.

Depends on how you look at it.

With OA, MJ develops quicker and potentially spends less time in orange and blue. 😂 Obviously that is a great thing if that is happening. It’s a great day to be an Illini fan.

Did Brad know OA was in play before letting Chet go or was it fortunate that all the pieces for coaching staff fit together in the end?

Is it fair to say OA is not that interested in a head coaching job? He went 23-55 at USF and has since just been a top assistant for Brad and Cal. Would love to see Brad have stability with the staff.

I have no inside knowledge, but coaches talk with each other all the time , so safe to assume Brad knew it was more than possible

Now that OA has become official, was this brads idea the whole time? Did he force Chet out so he could get OA? Or was this really all just incredibly lucky timing?
