I also wonder about our opposing team scouts. Usually a main assistant handles that. Coach O is by Brad and I've seen him in that spot more than Geoff and never Kw🤣. I mean, Hamer doe seem very green at what he does, but he isn't organizing everything on his own.

And this will sentence us to another fu**in' five years of suck. No thank you. You've always given great insider info, but if this is what you're advocating . . . No. Just f*ckin' No!

I love Chris Collins, and think he's an excellent coach. I would hate for him to be at either Iowa or Indiana. I kind of wish we had hired him when Bill Self, or Bruce Weber or John Groce left.
:) I love your online handle. I believe we are from the same era, at Illinois. You better not be my wife's secret online handle or I am going to be in trouble ....

Like you, I like Chris Collins as a coach. I think he is very good.

No way do I think he is the guy for the Illinois job though. It's ridiculously hard to accomplish what the Illinois is capable (some day) of accomplishing. At least from my perspective. :)

okay so who are our options other than sean miller, nothing against him but would be nice to have more HM options, Beard has too many serious issues to be an option. I dont think brad is on the hot seat though, he only leaves if its his call

Underwood's ongoing failure to understand that basketball analytics clearly say that turnover percentage is one of the MOST important factors in winning (or losing) is mind-boggling.

That's an idea that has been widely know for at least 2 decades.

Once upon a time, Andre Curbelo's turnovers didn't matter. Now, KJ's turnovers and Kylan's turnovers don't matter to our head coach. Knocking some sense into his blockhead would deliver him to the place he, and we, and the team, and the institution want to go.

Sounds like JC-level coaching: "take him to the Greyhound station, get him a one-way bus ticket home. We have 15 guys left, we'll see how many of them will fight."

Hamer and Tyler are doing nearly all offensive and defensive scouting and coordinating …

I think Collins could do really well in Iowa City too. It's not really his schtick, though: he has sold near-Ivy education in exchange for B1G experience. But if he tweaked that (Iowa is a decent school even if it is not Northwestern level of snobbery, lol), he'd do great at Iowa.

Josh is a smart man … I’ve said it here many, many times …
I have so much confidence in JW and understand that his experience and intelligence infinitely outweigh my armchair takes. That's the only reason I'm not completely losing it. Lovie did have Myles on staff as an actual AC for 3 years before he got fired. I just really hope the Tyler experiment doesn't drag on that long.
