I understand the desire to see action on the coaching front, but the season is not yet over for all the teams. Could it not be that Brad is giving Kwa, Hamer, etc., time to look for other employment instead of firing them immediately so they can leverage their time at UI into a good situation, rather than have to look for a job as someone that was just fired.
Given that TA was apparently still on salary (when is that done?), does he want to add additional expense at this moment. I expect that there is a lot going on behind the scenes that we know nothing about. With TA being gone, I cannot believe that they are not going to look for at least one other very experienced guy to step into the position held by Kwa, Hamer or TU.
BU has always been very diplomatic about the players and assistant coaches that have left. Maybe it is because he spent so much time as an assistant, but I don't see him publicly firing any assistant coach. If we have learned nothing else about BU over the last several years, it is that he always seems to have a plan and a series of backup plans. I expect that to be the case regarding our assistant coaching positions. I could be wrong, but I don't see BU standing pat on the assistant coaches for next year. I am sure JW will be in BU's office regularly over the next month or two. At a minimum JW will let him know he has some additional budget to pay for some experience if he will go and find it.
We are going to just have to let it play out - no one is getting "fired" publicly, unless they just refuse to move on.
