Those mid-range jumpers look good going through the hoop when 3s are clanging off the rim. I'm siding with the guys who would like to see another weapon in the arsenal.
Mich St. actually had a lower 3 point make percentage than us, but won more games. How? By ignoring analytics and and doing more of what worked for them. Jumpers just inside the FT line were very good shots for them. Sounds like some of our guys wanted to do the same, but weren't allowed to. They wanted to win games, Tyler wouldn't let them. Run some plays that don't involve jacking 3s.
When nearly all the players keep leaving (if they do) blaming those players is deflecting the blame away from where it belongs.
