You guys stop making excuses for Hurley. He was there for 11 years. He had plenty of time to establish a good consistent program. This NIL Era will get coaches played like a fiddle. These recruits initially go to the highest bidder and have no intention on staying more than a year. Hurley should have left when he went to back-to-back NCAA TOURNAMENTS. The man went to 3 NCAA TOURNAMENTS in 11 years. Northwestern has accomplished that. It's going to be very interesting to see where he goes next. Power 4 or mid-major. I'm tired of hearing you can't win at Arizona St.
Does this mean Brad will leave Illinois to be Alexander’s assistant? KSU IS big time as we all know.

I always thought Boeheim was whiny and top 5 in doing the least with the most talent, it's a bit much that he blames the players for Autry getting fired. It just blows right past the coach's responsibility in getting the right guys in, getting them into positions where they can succeed and (something Boeheim never did) adapting your system to their strengths.
