OK State is looking at Zac Robinson, G.J. Kinne and Collin Klein. Robinson is a dynamic offensive mind. He would be a great fit thereI think OkSt target hire is a lil different than Arky

Counterpoint: NIL(Whispers) Oklahoma State is a better job than Arkansas because you can win your conference and you won’t be auto-fired in 3-5 years.
would leave his job as OC here after 4 years to work for Traylor at Arky ?Would he want to be OC for Arkansas if Traylor takes the job or be interested in the UTSA job if it opens? Or is he satisfied being the OC here?
UTSA coach makes over 2.5 million, which surprised me. That would more than double Lunney’s salary, making it enticing.would leave his job as OC here after 4 years to work for Traylor at Arky ?
would leave here to be HC at UTSA ? I dunno
can they match salary ?
at his age, he’s not getting a DC or OC spot at a big time school. kinda depends on how bad he wants to still coach amd climb the ladder again. guys that age tend to wind up at G5 schools. if you love coaching , and some guys really do , you don’t care how big the school isWould Pittman be interested in coaching OL here if Bret offered, or is that too low of a drop for him?

This.
The Badgers had a style that was all their own and was extraordinarily successful with it for three decades. Barry Alvarez saw the unique makeup of the kids that grew up in Wisconsin and created a system tailored to them. Fickel has tried to make Wisconsin something it’s not.
UTSA could snatch Lunney.Arky isn’t reaching that low down the totem pole
they are going for proven winners
think
- Sumrall HC Tulane
- UTSA coach Traylor
- UCF coach Golesh
to name a few
indeedUTSA could snatch Lunney.
Who are 14, 15 and 16? Vanderbilt is currently ranked. Kentucky has been ranked recently.Arky would be prolly the 13th best job in a 16 team SEC. But I get that Lashlee is an alum and the draw of going back is big.
I was thinking Miss State/Vandy/KY but you might be right. 16 might be it.Who are 14, 15 and 16? Vanderbilt is currently ranked. Kentucky has been ranked recently.
Was just listening to College Sports Radio and the beat writer from Arkansas was on there saying he is pretty high on the list of candidates.Do we need to worry about Lunney?
i’m not surprised he is high on their list , but I will be shocked if they hire a guy without head coaching experience .Was just listening to College Sports Radio and the beat writer from Arkansas was on there saying he is pretty high on the list of candidates.
the rules of the game behind the scenes has changed dramatically the past 3-4 yearsIf Lashlee makes the move to Arkansas it's going to be because the Razorbacks are making a substantially big increased investment into the program. Which begs the question of why they didn't do that before if football truly mattered to their boosters like they act in front of media.
I think Arkansas has ton of big money boosters, however it is one of the few schools with fingers in three pies for men with a strong baseball program. If Lashlee makes the move to Arkansas it's going to be because the Razorbacks are making a substantially big increased investment into the program. Pittman could just stay at Arkansas and be an “ambassador”. He has good relationships with the donors and connects with the culture. He might be old enough to just accept the paycheck and leave behind the pressure.
If he still wants to coach, he can take a job at [name your school] and be one of the best paid o-line coaches. Would be a coup to get him at Illinois.
