Man, I can't imagine being Brad and having two of your assistants up and leave -- together, to the same place. Reeks of having been in the works for awhile. Everybody should be able to make the career moves that are best for them, but the way this is going down just seems like a major slap in the face.
I didn’t think there was anything that could make me dislike a school more than Iowa, but if it goes down like this I think I found a new one.

I do wish we would pay one of them to stay just to ease the transition. Chin looks like a future head coach to me though. I expect him to have a HC job in 3 years
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. I’m making a stop at my liquor cabinet tonight. 
I mean assistant coaches move on, that's to be expected for most. Not always for greener pa$tures but also promotion/career advancement - both are normal in all jobs. But it's a really critical time to limit turnover with the insane portal movement and overall momentum from the last two seasons, recruits that have signed is more complicated but at least they waited until after signing day to bounce. I think keeping them would have helped established Illinois as a more dominant basketball force to thwart a blue blood poach, soooo same old same old huh.
Great now everyone stop pretending the sky is falling.
Now i REALLY hate Kentucky

I get the move for OA. He’s been boys with Cal forever. But for Chin, cal has another year like this one and he’s gonna be looking for a fall guy. I don’t get it.

Living in Ky as I have for almost 30 yrs, though just inside the border in Paducah, I have numerous reasons to hate UK...the fans here have told me many times they would lie, cheat and steal for a natty...i asked what if they got caught...they said no problem ...
they have no worries about compliance here...When the Fed Ex box opened up and $$$ poured out they told me it should have been taped better....
Cal is in a bind here after the worst season in memory....He isn't a teflon Don as some think and the $$$ for his buyout would come in, in about 30 minutes if needed....
But this ploy by UK has me as mad as I have ever been in sports.....Poach one ? ok....poach 2.....not OK.......it's OA and Chin's decision but if this happens I want courtside tickets to the next time we play UK....

I pay little attention to Chicago HS bball scene (outside of top players coming out of there) and this might sound ludicrous but I recall the name being thrown around back in 2017: would Rob Smith be a worthwhile target? Repair that Simeon relationship?

If I'm on the team I am taking this personal. Both of your ACs dipping on you like this? At the very least, they (Chin and OA) are providing plenty of summer motivation for our guys.
Also, thank God we have a jump start on the '22 class. Think Storr is a solid commitment. Might be a tad more worried about Bass, but he also isn't (yet, at least) what KY is shooting for.
