Respectfully. I think you are over analyzing my reply.Which is why I said it'd be an ok, maybe good staff. The team will still compete. Frazier and Pinkins are promising recruiters, but not as accomplished as Mennenga and Young, yet. Alexander is kind of a question mark in that regard, as he's been in a non-recruiting role since he came over from Evansville. So, I don't think it's unfair to say that staff would fall short of the high expectations most had after hearing about the attempts to retain Antigua.
Also, FWIW, "just fine" isn't very comforting. We recruited "just fine" during Groce years. I'm optimistic on Frazier and Pinkins, and think they'll do better than "just fine," though I would prefer to also have a more established recruiter in order to capitalize on the current momentum.
Wasnt ever worried about that. I am worried about the future. Perhaps someone can calm me down by citing several programs that have gotten better over time after losing all of their assistant coaches in the same yearRespectfully. I think you are over analyzing my replay.
I’m simply thrilled that we look to be keeping the guys that have signed and committed.
Offered them both good. Money both schools matched though.Man, really thought JW war chest would be more effective...no Young, can't get Mennenga.
I'm sure Alexander is promising but thought we could have poached a top level assistant.
He just took a job with UNLV, like a month ago. Would he move again, already?Carlin hartman
A lot of gossip. Some red flags on Pinkins. Hope we get Young or Mennenga.
Not surprised at Oregon, but am at UConn matchingOffered them both good. Money both schools matched though.

How unfortunate, but understandable. At least we got Chester.Offered them both good. Money both schools matched though.

Can any say Shad??
I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say, or whether you think Groce recruited well or poorly, but here's my thoughts on the matter since you seem so concerned I have some "problem":Respectfully, if you think we recruited "just fine" in the Groce I'm begining to see the problem.
It’s all good.
Payne’s AAU coach not on board with Pinkins is not gossip. Most of the other probably is gossip. I still would take him. Just preferred Young. Was actually hoping for both.A lot of gossip.
Update: The hotel in Lexington I’m at this weekend is connected to Rupp Arena folks. Everything is UK in here. Help
Clever, and you are still keeping your negative thang going at the same time.Alas, 3 assistants gone in one off season. I guess that's what they call the Three-In-One
This is ridiculous. We are such revisionists here exaggeratedly high on whomever is currently in the chair and exaggeratedly low on those from the past.Respectfully, if you think we recruited "just fine" in the Groce I'm begining to see the problem.
