Casue he cant actively go out on the road and recruit those connections where as Nick in that spot his only connection we care about is MIF and we took care of Nick so he will take care of us with MIF.I fail to see how promoting someone already here gets us access to his connections.
He did. Alexander.Hiring an Irvin in any capacity won't help Illinois with Meanstreets. Underwood needs to hire someone that won't anger other AAU teams.
Nick gets a nice salary, Brad doesn't actually have to listen or take any of Nicks coaching advice. Win-win lol

Hahah. Brad will at least pretend to listenSounds like the start of a healthy working relationship.

Why not both? Or better yet, all of them.I'd rather have an in with one and make others mad than not have an in with any
yea kind of what I was thinking.....but I also wonder why other P5 programs haven't already pursued him for this very reason??Sounds like the start of a healthy working relationship.

100%. I just meant that BU hiring Chin was a very strategic & shrewd move that substantially helped with landing both Ayo & Miller. There was a heck of lot more that went into those 2 recruitments than Chin. The down payment on Ayo actually started back in the Groce era.
So Alexander has been hired as an assistant? He did. Alexander.
If asked, I hope Nick tells Brad the MIF Twitter was hacked. Because everything involving Chicago recruiting seems to be nutso and overly complicated.I still want to know who wrote that tweet. I am reasonably sure it wasn't him, but someone in his camp with less to lose.
Funny bc it started at 20 points and went up 10 points the next tweet lolBy 30 points.
Not officially, but all signs point to it.So Alexander has been hired as an assistant?

Doesn't hurt that he'd be the second Irvin working in UI athletics. Would have to think that having two family members working down here would start to change perceptions in Chicago and miiiight help increase the shelf life a tad.Transactional relationships don't often have a long stable shelf life.
