I have no idea. Not sure why WIU does this though. What do they get out of it — “assurances that MIF will direct its second tier players there?

I kind of wondered about the same thing. Not saying it didn’t happen but yeah, what does WIU get, plus they have their own separate hiring process, HR, board of directors, etc. It just doesn’t compute for me how UI could dictate terms there.

I would think that there is a decent amount of room between "UI dictates the terms there" and "UI/Brad/Irvin have no ability to try to influence WIU's hiring". I don't think anyone is suggesting that UI is moving chess pieces around (actually, someone may have actually used that analogy!), but it doesn't seem crazy to think there could at least be some conversations.
