I never envisioned getting to the point where I yearned to read “open growth plates”, or “wait to see what Fletch can do for him”…….
That really is Plan ZLooks like it's going to be Tyler Underwood. BU needed somebody to teach the weave,

Wikipedia says it was released in 1977. You're good.ahhh, then I must be confusing it with some other euro style song
Incorrect, it was 1985:Wikipedia says it was released in 1977. You're good.
As we've seen this morning.....proper .gif'ing requires accurate timing and cleverness. Just like any good comedy.
Responding to every comment with a .gif, or flooding the thread with .gif's (unless there is a truly huge event worthy of .gif bombing ie: "It's Happening! and Insider "boom") weakens the .gif's impact on the viewers.
Regardless of these guidelines, a random .gif or two is way better than "Where I Went To High School", or some angry boomer telling us he likes his basketball players to all have flat top haircuts and no tattoos. Exciting.
So creepyspeaking of gifs, who's tired of this commercial ?

All of these Gifs are just ridiculous. I would much rather read about the substance than these stupid videos, they would be great for elementary school students! So creepy
You're proving my point. All of these Gifs are just ridiculous. I would much rather read about the substance than these stupid videos, they would be great for elementary school students!
Can’t believe this news is being ignored and buried by a bunch of gifs. Guess people really don’t care anymore.Looks like it's going to be Tyler Underwood. BU needed somebody to teach the weave,

Yes. He participated in a zoom call with a recruit. He obviously had taken the job. Then he went home and wife and kids said no.Wait a minute so you are saying Hess was essential acting as an Illini coach for some period of time? That is incredibly awkward if true.
Hadn't laughed that much in a long time.
I have been saying this for years. Many don't understand how much of an impact that a wife has on accepting a new job in athletics.Yes. He participated in a zoom call with a recruit. He obviously had taken the job. Then he went home and wife and kids said no.
This is pretty embarrassing if true. Not that the family had veto power, but that we would have included him in a recruiting call before anything was actually finalized.Yes. He participated in a zoom call with a recruit. He obviously had taken the job. Then he went home and wife and kids said no.
It's more embarrassing for him that he had made a decision and had to go back and say he didn't have permission. Either consult with you family before saying yes or tell them you are sorry but you have already decided. This is pretty embarrassing if true. I'd be curious to know the identity of the recruit and where they ultimately end up instead.
Just because it's more embarrassing for him doesn't make it any less embarrassing for our program. It's more embarrassing for him that he had made a decision and had to go back and say he didn't have permission. Either consult with you family before saying yes or tell them you are sorry but you have already decided.
FIFYI have been saying this for years. Many don't understand how much of an impact that a wife has on accepting a new job.
