Agreed. And I just watched
this lengthy interview about what he's got going on at JSU, from the perspective of a couple of young entrepreneurs. Coach Prime has a universe of experience that he can speak from, that nobody else can match.
He went from an HBCU to the NFL and MLB. He was an All Pro and HOF, and played offense, defense and special teams. And he had the wisdom to create a 'brand' for the cameras that would have value for off the field and when his playing days were over. The man is unique. He describes himself as an introvert when the cameras are off. He cares about his kids, and those connections are real, and that's why he's in the business. But he is aware of his ability to positively influence not just JSU, but the HBCUs writ large. Which would be one hell of a legacy, above and beyond his already incomparable legacy.
